Functional Nephrology

Manpreet Samra graduated from Medical college, Amritsar in India, where she also was introduced to Yoga.  She completed her Internal Medicine residency at UTMB in Austin, TX followed by one year of Chief Residency.  She then went on to pursue a Nephrology Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center, which is also her home town.  She began practicing Nephrology in Cleveland, where she first heard about Functional Medicine through the Cleveland Clinic.  She began with the AFCMP and after seeing the immediate effects on her patients decided to pursue the IFM certification.  She also became a Certified Yoga instructor while in Cleveland.  Presently, Dr. Samra is completing a Kidney Transplant fellowship at the University of Chicago.
